To book a site at the Saturday Market you will need to contact the booking office 03 5466454 to discuss your proposal. The main focus of this market is on regionally made products and produce.
How do I get a stall at Monty's Sunday Market?
If you wish to obtain a site you will need to arrive at Montgomery Square between 7am and 8am. Park outside the market area and walk to the market office situated at the end of the restrooms block facing Briscoe's entrance. Please bring a form of photo ID. If you wish to sell pre-prepared food or fruit and veges you will need to phone the Booking Office on 03 546 6454.
No electrical goods are allowed to be sold unless they have been checked by a registered electrician and tagged as safe. No dangerous goods are to be brought for sale.
Can I distribute leaflets & flyers at the Nelson Market?
Leaflets, flyers, promotional material, collections and petitions are not permitted at the Nelson Market with the exception of the Nelson Market's Pearly Queen. Raffles require prior approval from Market Management who can be contacted on 546 6454 or email: info@nelsonmarket.co.nz
The Nelson Market office is open during market hours at the end of the Montgomery Square restrooms should you have any urgent enquiries.
Can I bring my dog to the Nelson Market?
With the exception of seeing eye dogs, dogs are not allowed in the Nelson Market due to Nelson City Council Health & Safety regulations.
