Reversible Visor – Ikat style
Sun visor featuring quilted hand-dyed silk
The reversible sun visor is made from quilted silk on one side, and strong, cotton fabric on the reverse side.
The silk is made by using a twisting technique. Once the fabric is twisted to look like a rope, the dyes are hand-painted on this surface.
Once dried and opened up, the fabric resembles ikat weaving patterns.
All fabrics are steam-fixed to create strong, vibrant, permanent colour.
Bias binding edging makes the visor robust and hard-wearing. Comfortable. Washable. Colourfast.
Care: Hand-wash in warm water using a gentle soap product. Rinse. Can machine spin out excess moisture. Air dry.
