Description
- One of the first pieces that I created was the Maureen earrings with 3 small stones dangling on their silver threads. These are one of my best selling pieces and as a consequence I thought wouldn’t it be great to have a matching necklace that is of the same design idea. And voila! Here it is! Whether it is matched with the Maureen earrings or worn on it’s own this is a super cool dingly dangly necklace for everyday wear.
Made with sterling silver and Ruby Bay Tasman beach pebbles, I have not altered the stones in any way other than to drill the holes. The shape and smoothness of these stones is purely the work of Mother Nature. I have finished this with a waxed nylon necklace that is designed for you to choose the length that suits you.
Weight and lengths from top of ring to bottom of lowest stone – average 7-10 grams, 7-9 cm.
Waxed necklace length: 72cm at longest length, 36cm at shortest
Who is Kym? Just as the Kym necklace relates to the Maureen earrings, so too does the real Kym to the real Maureen. My sister-in-law and Maureen’s daughter, Kym is brilliant, devoted and kind and I am so happy to be able to call her my family.

After years away from Aoeteora, I have returned home, enjoying the simple pleasures of the bush and the beach.
Living in Nelson has given me a fresh energy, to create, to bring my design ideas to the natural elements I find on my beach walks.
Walking the beaches here inevitably results in a pocket full of pebbles, beautifully smooth and wonderfully formed. I have developed a deep love for these little wonders and want to share them with you through my jewellery.
When you wear one of my pieces you will know you carry a little piece of New Zealand nature with you always.

Terms and Conditions
The pieces that are numbered are the items for sale. The fact that they are on this site does not necessarily mean that exact pair IS available. If it turns out that they have already been sold I will contact you with alternate sets for your consideration.
Shipping Policy
Upon placing the order I will endeavour to get it into the NZ Courier Post system within 2 working days. From there I would reasonably expect that you would receive your treasure within another 2 days. As soon as it is sent I will send you details of the tracking number so you can cyber stalk your parcel on the NZ Post website.
If I am out of town and unable to get your product to the post I will let you know.
I am big on communicating so if you haven't heard from me within 2 days of your purchase please let me know.
Return Policy
If it turns out you don't love the earrings as much as you thought you would (I can't even imagine that happening but...) I am happy for you to return them back to me and you can choose again or I can refund - totally up to you. Please note though - the additional postage is up to you to cover if returning the earrings and they must be in unworn condition. I can tell if you have worn them as they pick up the oils from your skin so please don't pretend they are unworn if you've had them on all week.
If the earrings fail structurally please let me know and we can work out a solution. I have not had a set do so but you never can tell. Each piece is totally handmade therefore there will be marks and blemishes on the silver - this is all part of the charm and does not constitute damage or fault in the product.
