The Marlborough Lavender Estate is set in Marlborough’s sun-drenched Waihopai Valley.
Under the intense, pure sunlight of this unique microclimate valley, thousands of carefully selected lavender plants produce lavender flowers of exceptional and exquisite colour and aroma.
From these flowers, the Marlborough Lavender produces award winning lavender oil and create their stunning range of lavender products.
At Marlborough Lavender we take immense pride in all we produce and are proud to say our lavender is locally grown and our plants are spray-free.
If you’d like to buy Lavender bunches, please contact us via the Marlborough Lavender wensite or by phone, since the shipping costs will need to be worked out on a case by case basis.
Of all Lavender qualities, the most unmistakable is it’s fragrance.
Lavender gifts make wonderful aromatic treats.
Lavender has long been valued for healing and calming qualities. It is one of the few oils that can be applied neat to the skin. There are many beneficial ways to use lavender oil, but like all essential oils, it is highly concentrated and should be treated with respect.
Please consult an aromatherapist if unsure of using lavender oil.
Store oil in a cool place out of direct light to keep it in the best condition. Please keep out of reach of children.
Lavender plants require free draining ground and plenty of sunshine hours. Our Marlborough property is well suited for both.
We chose to plant our lavender in rows to assist with the machine harvest process. bunches of lavender are still hand harvested for the dried flower market.
We grow several varieties. Some are best suited to produce quality oil and some are better for drying, culinary use etc.
Our plants are all spray free.
