The Craftroom is a small home based hobby business located in rural Wakefield, Nelson NZ. As a creative person I found myself drawn to beads and after some time playing around with them the beaded spider was born. I then added the beautiful NZ Weta to my small but interesting collection but after some time I was not able to purchase the beads needed for their bodies and heads so I came to a crossroad. Either stop making them or have a go at making the beads myself so I gave it a go and much to my delight they became more popular than ever. In the last year or so I have started making them as fridge magnets.
