Aroha Chocolates are Nelson’s premium artisan chocolatiers and long time Nelson Market supporters.

Wobblie (Mike Duke) & Jo Logan began the enterprise in 2014 and have been going from strength to strength as their reputation (and product) spread throughout the country and further afield.

In 2014 Jo returned from Canada having trained with a master chocolate maker, earning her the prestigious qualification of Master Chocolatier.
The business developed based on a philosophy of “Flavour First“. That means not just playing with great flavour combinations but also ensuring the flavours are distinctive and come through at different times during consumption to give you a full flavour experience that stays on the palate for longer.

Their range is a chocolatey feast of Truffles, Squares, Gourmet Rocky Road & delicious Chocolate Drinks.
Every morsel is hand crafted and delivered to you in custom designed, NZ produced recyclable packaging with a focus on the planet.

Easter Hot Cross Chocolate Bonbons!

Last year the Aroha team were just abut to launch their Hot Cross Bonbons when New Zealand went in to lock down.
The good news is their delicious Hot Cross Bonbons are back!

At the Nelson Easter Market pick up a pack of half a dozen delicious, full flavour Bonbons with traditional hot cross bun spices & fruits infused ganache. Enrobed in couverture milk chocolate, topped off with classic white chocolate crosses & joined into the classic half a dozen block.

Simply snap off a bon or two & enjoy.

Nothing hot or cross about you after one of these creamy beauties!
